The Wayfarer Beach House is a waterfront private suite seated at the heart of Prince Edward County.  The homey ambience of the house is supplemented with decorations that reflect the beauty and pride of The County.  It is only a few minute drive to the famous town and villages of The County, among which are the following:

▫    Picton is an incorporated town in Prince Edward’s Country and serves as its main artery.  It sits at the southwestern end of the Picton Bay, a part of the Bay of Quinte which itself is along the northern shoreline of Lake Ontario.  The town offers excellent shopping facilities, live theatre, beautiful heritage homes and building, a scenic harbor, and six municipal parks among which is the impressive Macaulay Heritage Park.

▫    Once named Smokeville, Wellington is a farming village of Prince Edward County.  It is at the shores of Lake Ontario and has a great view of the world’s largest sand dunes at Sandbanks.  Wellington displays its history and heritage with pride.  It offers a range of fine restaurants with great food, fishing charters and modern docking facilities, public beach and boardwalk, day spas and boutiques, golfing and kayaking, and year-round festivals and events.

▫    The village of Bloomfield is located on the Loyalist Parkway at the center of The County.  It offers a wide variety of restaurants, cafes, tearooms, an ice cream shop that feature homemade ice cream made out of local products, boutiques, artist studios, antiques, and spas.  The village is surrounded with charming roadside stands and orchards, striking vineyards, quaint homes, beautiful gardens, and historic buildings that wear their heritage with pride.
